Test the avionics before the countdown
Flight computers, engine controllers and valve and pyro drivers have to behave exactly as designed. m8rix runs the bench side of hardware-in-the-loop testing so every build gets the full suite.
What you can validate
m8rix for launch vehicles
- Flight computer power-upSequencing, inrush and brown-out behaviour on the supply rails, captured on the scope.
- Valve and actuator driversDrive current, timing and fault response of solenoid and servo drivers into real or electronic loads.
- Sensor front endsSignal generators stand in for sensors so the conditioning chain can be checked across its range.
- Every build, the full suiteFirmware built and flashed per release, then the same checks run before it goes near the vehicle.
Workflows
Say what to test. It runs the rest.
Each workflow starts with a sentence. The agent turns it into a plan you review, then runs it on your bench.
01
Power sequencing check
Ramp each supply in order, capture the rails and reset lines, and check the timing against the spec.
> Bring up the flight computer and check every rail is in regulation within 50 ms.
02
Driver characterisation
Step the command, measure the current rise and the turn-off, and repeat across supply voltage.
> Characterise the valve driver at 24, 28 and 32 V and report the turn-on time.
03
Release regression
For each tagged build: flash, run the checks, compare with the last good build.
> Flash release 1.4 and run the full avionics bench suite.
Why m8rix
Built for hardware that has to work
Limits it cannot cross
Your device's ratings are hard limits, checked on every step by deterministic code. The AI can't loosen them.
Every run on the record
Every command, who asked for it and the result, with the data and waveforms kept for review.
Rehearse first
Run the plan on simulated instruments before anything is powered, so a mistake costs nothing.
On this bench
- Power supplies335
- Oscilloscopes171
- Signal generators97
- Electronic loads11
- Multimeters6
- and anything else with SCPI
